This will be a two phase program of which the details are mentioned below:
Phase I: This phase of the program will start on the 2nd of September and will go on till December 2007. Trials will start simultaneously in all the 4 provinces under the supervision of “Youth Development Head of National Cricket Academy”.

Program format
Each district will be given dedicated 10 days which will be distributed as follows:

• After the first two days the players will be short-listed solely on their cricketing abilities
• The next 5 days will be dedicated to the coaching and training of these players
• In the last 3 days these players will play 3 one day matches to show off their talent and techniques learned over the past 5 days after which the final 15 of the region will be selected.

These trials will be held in almost 35 districts of the country. The selection of the final 15 will be done by the by the regional selection committee. An inter-regional tournament of these selected players will be held. 36 of the most talented player will be selected who would then be admitted to the “National Cricket Academy” for 4-6 weeks.

These players will then enter the second phase of the program where they will be trained and further short-listed till we get our final cricket team to play against the international team.
